He woke up and was so excited when I gave it to him in the morning 25th. We know he does not understand what is all about and it was so interesting. The green wrapper really  fascinating him.

10 Months Old - little man

My little man turned into 10 months old in December. He becomes more curious about stuff and little holes on thing. He got another 2 front teeth and another tooth soon, I love his cheeky smile. He loves to drop things on the floor and making babbling sound like singing when he wants to sleep.

Happy Thanksgiving 2013

We do not have turkey or pumpkin pie to celebrate this year but I am being thankful and feel blessed....

The first and the most is my little one Axel . He is 9 months old. I am thankful that he is happy and growing up healthy 

Husband - Loving husband who is always helping me 

Friends - I have friends who always making me cheers around and keep me moving

Work - I have done a lot of work that I couldn't believe I could do it. I conduct the HF course, I conduct audit and produced CRJ MEL and reports. Yesterday I got compliment from my head that I have effective performance which is almost 90%.

Halloween 2013

I planned for Halloween food party this year. Sadly no large pumpkin, pumpkin pie and candies. The major reason is pumpkin so costly here. Alternatively, I had full imagination about creating Halloween food. They are like jello brain, food fingers, drinks look like blood. I bet that  would be fun and interesting.

 A few weeks before 31st Oct, I bought a box of jello mix, two packs of jelly worm, icing sugar, flour and few mandarins orange.  I thought I can make sugar cookies with pumpkin picture on it. On that day, I got cold. Stuffy nose and headache unfortunately. Poor me. I just managed to sketch Jack o Lantern face on the mandarins...so here they are.

Faux Hawk style on Axel

I love the faux hawk hairstyle but I won't be able to do on my hair unfortunately :-) Definitely the style suits to a guy/gal who always has short haircut. Lately I applied to my little boy, Axel. It worked to his wet hair especially after bathing. I think he looked great! Don't you think?

Happy 8 months - my chunky

Everything is going slow including updating blog. I love to update but time is really killing me. It is nearly end of the month of October. You can't miss how Axel is growing up progressively! Now he can sit on his own without support. I am super glad. He gets up while straightened his arms against the mattress and sit. I am surprised he sit up and do not crawl yet.

He turned 8 on 5th Oct, Saturday. That was 3+ weeks ago. The precious thing when he is smiling towards me. Truthfully his cute smile is really melting my heart . Let's see Axel doing when he is 8 months old.

 

I bought a walker. He is doing really great!

My Li'l Monkey turns 7

Age seven months old?! Honestly I feel pretty down plus happy. What made me sad was he was leaving the moment started from when he was born until  6 months. Those milestones has gone months ago. Axel just turned into 7 months on Sept 5th. One thing I completely happy he is growing up healthy as a happy baby.

 

We found a few development from him. It surprising us every time when we noticed him from day to day. This stage he started sit without support but sometimes he bump his head back or front. He still pretty unstable. 

He babbles a lot like "ba ba ba ba" and laughing out loud when he saw me holding stuff like a box or colorful plastic. Another exciting thing he learns how to grab stuff and putting into his mouth. This time I have to be careful about the choking hazard.

My Birthday 2013

August 27th just past a week ago and it was my birth date . I think my birthday this year was very light and the simplest I've ever made. One thing, my baby Axel did not understand it. Warming birthday wishes from family/friends, I totally appreciates who remembering the date. Ultimately the blueberry cheesecake was the highlight of this special day. This is the first time I celebrated with three of us. I am happy and thankful!

Teething is in Progress

Axel has been showing signs of teething since 5 months 3 weeks. I discovered white caps on the bottom in the middle and now two teeth emerging on that part.

 

Drooling and biting finger are part of the signs.

There are many teething rings brand to choose from and I purchased NUK brand since it is simple, soft plastic and not hard like the other brands. I chill that teether in the fridge before giving to him. He totally loves it! He chews every time after feeding or whenever he wants.

He is really concentrate chewing on it....

The fight scene - like us

What on earth had I watched the notebook movie a couple days ago? I guess I did not see the whole story before. I noticed something at the fight scene of the movie. It totally remind me that we used to fight like that. Not all of it but it started at 2:00 min when he said you are bored to.... the end.  It made me laugh and I showed it to R. 

 I agreed any relationship is not easy but we make it through by working on it.

Period after birth

Last Friday was my first day of menstrual period. Honestly I was surprised when  I got my period back ! kind of exciting . My cycle has been taking long break and now is returning to work! Well 9 months pregnant  since July 2012 of course you got no period. I had my pospartum bleeding about  a month. Then no period until Axel turned 6 month ++. Bloody from vajayjay is not fun at all but at least I feel pretty normal now.  :-)

Thankfully the flow is normal and no cramps.

Start Solid Foods

Axel just turned 6 months.What's new thing to us is that we introduced him solid food at this stage. It is on the right time as pediatricians recommended feeding the babies at least 6 months old.

Honestly I have no idea about feeding the baby.But I am so excited! Also I can't wait to pick the baby food. He's been eyeballing on our food on the plate every time we have meal. That showing he is so ready! At this age, he just really needs to practice and learn. I know it would be fun to watch him taste different foods. And the most expectation is MESSY.

We started with a few table spoon of apple puree or fruits puree straight from the jar in the mid morning and cereal mix with breast milk for lunch time.

Swallowing food at the first time kind of awkward to him. He made funny face and dribble it out. His tongue keep pointing out while tasting it. It so cute! After a few days trying I am glad he learns pretty well.The most important thing he enjoyed the food and like it. Thankfully no fussy at all and no allergy reaction so far. Some baby website recommended that take photo of your baby first taste solid food. So here it is Axel and puree

Introducing solid food can be confusing. When? How much should I offer? So I searched baby menu plan and found out this website is really help us as guidance. He can't sit up properly yet so we let him lay upright on his stroller. Soon he would sit on high chair.

Half Marathon Race - 18th Aug

R joined New Balance half marathon (21 km) race at Setia Alam, Shah Alam last weekend. This time he managed to drive to the race location by himself using navi. Axel and I  just stayed at home relaxing on Sunday weekend.

R won 9th place out of I didn't exactly know. But I know he did a good job. He achieved the target, I guess. He was happy when he's home before lunch. He brought a piece of medal and also a nice trophy! Congrats Hubby! I am proud of

you!

Baby size

Every babies is growing up as well as Axel. Most of his clothing tag says for 6-12 months or 9 months but the size is just fit nicely for him right now and we think that it won't longer fit to him soon. That would be a problem.

I love the bodysuit (romper suit/snapsuits) type because it is one piece suit and i just open the button at the crotch to change his diaper. It made my job easy

I have been hunting for baby bodysuit in different stores unfortunately I didn't find one. Most are two pieces. Finally last weekend I found it at a baby store in Sunway Giza. They have only until 9 months. Anyway I bought 3 pcs of 9 months one because they were so cute. Seriously I have guilty conscious after I put on him. The button just fit right on his crotch which he is only 5 1/2 months. That body suit won't fit him for next month. The picture below is the new bodysuit. (9mth)

First Week of July

July 1st
Beginning of first of July was R birthday. We simply celebrate at home with simple dinner.

We celebrated 4th of july (US Independence day) here with beef steak. No hotdogs. No fireworks. :( We used to watch it at the beach in US

This Month Axel..

Axel will turn 5 months next week. I couldn't believed it happened so fast. Previously he just looked at his both feet. Now he started to grab his feet and toes. He watches everything we do. He smiles a lot when I talk to him and laugh out loud when I do peek a boo.

Trail Run Race - 23rd June

Last Sunday, R participated the trail run 12 km at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park (MAEPS) Serdang. We left home around 5 pm and arrived there about 5.45 am. Since it was hazy that day, I just dropped him off at the race place. Then Axel and I headed to my sister's house in Bangi for a visit.

He called me around 9 am and proudly said " I won". I was so happy. Honestly he didn't really bother what position he got and he just did better than other race. He got some cash and this artistic trophy
