Having a kid creating a new world to us. This is real. Anyway.  It is challenging to be a new parents when it comes to adapt new circumstances. Totally. I think I completely focused on labour and delivery preparation while I was pregnant. I didn't realize that preparation after the baby was born beyond way important than the childbirth. Now I am new mommy for our baby named Axel Raleigh Holmes. Robert and I learned swaddling, diapering, bathing, feeding, burping from the first day we brought him to home. Those are just part of it. There are tons of childcare thing that we should learn and I think we are doing good in every way of it.

From childbirth recovery, handling postpartum hormones, adjusting the body changes and coping with sleep deprivation, I am normally still adjusting myself to manage all those thing.  Axel is exclusively breastfeeding every 2-3 hours and sometimes get fussy and cranky.  So there is NO good night's sleep for few weeks. Honestly it is quite stressful when he is crying for no reason within hour on unpredictable day or night.

We do a lot of reading about the baby and stuff and technically research all the information from the parents experience so that we don't do anything wrong or worrying over nothing.  Time goes by and I have no idea where the time goes when Axel already turned to 1 month old plus.

My heart melt everytime I see those teeny weeny fingers grabbing my thumb while feeding him..

and his itty bitty toes....

I love every part of it.
