Axel's 2nd Birthday

The highlight of February is actually Axel's birthday. He turned 2 years old this month on 5th. He obviously does not understand what birthday was but we celebrated it. I am such a bless and thankful that he is growing up around us and being healthy is one good thing.  When he turned two years old, as a mom I did not realize that the time goes on so fast and I really miss things like when he was a chubby baby.

15th Feb - Oral Cancer Race

I registered 5k race called Oral Cancer run on 15th Feb. When the date got closer, I felt wanted to cancel it because I have not prepared for training. But Robert encouraged me to go. He said it just 5k and no big deal. He decided that we took Axel  to the race. The race held in Perdana Botanical park in KL.

Three of us left home in the morning around 5.30 am. We went early so that we have parking slot since the space is so limited. They have 2 race categories which are 10k and 5k. My race started at 7.30 am. So we got a lot of time to explore the park. And I begin my race at the first line.

Robert was trying to capture me when I was running, but he did not get it. He told me that I was running too fast. So luckily other photographer took my pic at the finish line...it looked like I was out of breath. Funny!

This time I finished my race around 36 minutes. I think it still pretty slow. I got my goodies bag and we left the park around 8.15 am. This is my medal.
