29 February 2012

Since the earth does not orbit around the sun precisely this year, we called it leap year and 29th February is a leap day. It is usually happen every four year and I suddenly remembered about movie title" Leap Year".  Honestly I watched this movie more than 3 times last year. I really love Anna (Amy Adam) and Declan (Matthew Goode) characters in that movie.

It is about Anna decides to fly to Dublin Ireland to surprise and propose her long time boyfriend on a leap day due to Irish tradition that a man who receive a marriage proposal on a leap day must accept it. But major things happened to her that derail her trip to Dublin. Even it is typical romantic comedy but absolutely it so lovely, funny, entertaining and charming. They filmed this movie in Ireland so the scenes are really beautiful.

Generally it is super chick flick movie. Not for guys, Robert may not watch it this type of movie, haha and I am going to watch it again next time.

Happy Leap Day!

I found Sidney's book on the bookshelves. I picked two books this month, Bloodline and The Sky is Falling. I am not good at making review of the story but Sidney Sheldon is an American author who likes to write about woman who are intelligent, talented and experience the challenges. This is absolutely for fun reading and spending my time in the evening most of the time.

Bloodline has too many flashbacks in the beginning, but once I get into the story is fantastic.

The sky is falling is on-going story, mysterious and suspense. Interesting story line and fast pace plot. The story brought me to France, Germany, Rome, Russia and many places when I read it. I felt the experience even I've never been there.

I finished it yeah!

One afternoon we were in the kitchen and I was making his tea. While I was pouring water from a pot into his mug, suddenly he asked

Rob: "Is the water in that pot, hot?"
Me:  "Yeah, why?"
Rob: "How that it can be?" He touched the pot body few times then he said

Rob: "The pot is cold!"
Me:  "Don't worry, the tea is hot".

After dipping a teabag, I gave him the mug and he was amazed when he felt it was very hot.

Rob: "It is unbelievable, there is no plug on and how come the water stay hot inside the pot. It must be a 'MAGIC POT'".

Me:  "Hahaha!(Laughing Out Loud)"
Then I explained to him

Me: " It is a vacuum flask to keep the temperature hot or some people called it thermos. I boiled water and put in it last night."

Rob: "Oh!, I've never seen anything like that.."

This is the magic pot (flask) that we were talking about:

Honestly he's been using microwave or electrical pot to make a drink and he has never seen anything like big flask or thermos in his entire life. He called it magic pot since then. He is totally funny!

Lately Robert is doing his running workout at Desa Park city, Bandar Manjalara. We’ve been to Metropolitan Park, KL Lake Garden and other recreation parks but we actually attracted to Desa Park waterfront and finally chose to stay with it as our recreation time since it is so close to our place which is 15 minutes drive from our house.

We absolutely love the interesting atmosphere of this place. Even though we have to pay the parking it is actually fully guarded by few security men. The parking fee is RM1 for 2 hours on the weekdays and RM2 for the weekends. So spending 2 hours or more there it is not bad at all. The visitors are worldwide, I think. We didn't expect so many foreigners like European, Australian, Japanese and Korean visiting this place when we came at the first time.

The park is so clean and a lake which has a lot of fish surrounding with jogging paths. There are a lot of activities you can do if you stop there such as running, biking, walking, feeding the fish, reading, dining and shopping.

Have a good week!!
