22 months old - talking and words

This month I can see and hear his speech development clearly. He showed pictures of the book to me and said the words of the picture. He is more interested to read books than anything else. The books below are some of his favorite ones

He also loves his plush toy animals especially the big dog that I bought for him since he was a baby. He carries everywhere in the house with him.

Cinnamon rolls

This is the first time I made cinnamon rolls. This is the recipe I have got from website and modified it for my own cinnamon rolls recipe

1/4 cup warm water

1 Tbs sugar

2 tsp Yeast

1/4 cup melted butter

1 egg

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup of warm milk

4 cups flour

Filling

6 TBS butter

1 cup of brown sugar

1-2 TBS cinnamon

21 months old

Axel turned into 21 months old in November 5th. I made him do some creative thing. I patched papers on the wall and gave him few colors of crayon. The results are like those...

He drew the multiple of lines.  Is that called artistic?

5k Night Race - 22nd Nov

Saturday night was fun because the mother nature threw rain on this race. I almost got wet when the rain just started when I finished my race. This race was called "Larian Gegar Neon" organized by University Malaya. It was my first time I went to UM so I was quite not familiar with the area. I ran 5k only. Most 10k runners running in the heavily shower. I bet they had fun.

The race track was  really hilly on the first part. They named "Bukit Cinta". So every runners initiated with running on the hill.

Before giving prize, they have dance show and they doing it in the rain.
Anyway I got 10th place. It was just lucky I guess. Actually the prize some kind motivated me to run better next time.

Honestly it was fun.

Saturday Morning 22nd

Three of us headed to Setia Alam City Mall to collect race pack for Robert. He joined the half marathon (21k) New Balance race on Sunday morning. While waiting he collected his kit, Axel and I walked to the park in front of the mall. The mall has a wide open space of green field and  a nice park. The white tent was build for the race program.

Axel  was happy walking along the grass and we reached the small bridge

Robert joined us walked at the park  and lifted Axel when we saw him sweaty and tired.

2nd Nov - Fun Run

I welcomed the first week of November with Charity Fun Run. It was on Nov 2nd, Sunday morning at Botanical Garden KL organized by Myrun Malaysia. The run program called "Kids & Family Fun Run" started with warm up session and it was cool because we had shower from rain in that morning. We started about 8.40 am. The run was non competitive so every participant can run or walk a long the path.

But me, I ran along the path. I finished run about 20 minutes. I felt orange that day and I felt good with everything, from t-shirt, the place and temperature. I got the right size which is luckily not S size.

Saturday Run - Shamrock

We had run program on last Saturday (18th). This is the first time Axel joined the run program with me. The program called Shamrock Run which actually was a non-competitive leisurely run. The run held at Recreation Park Bukit Jalil .  I've never been there so I was pretty excited. They started at 7.45 AM and there have two category run which were 8k and 3k. We just did 3k only.

19 months Axel

September turned Axel to 1 year 7 months old. He is really an active toddler. He loves to draw lines on the wall but turned up he draws everywhere he likes such as on the stool, on the bed..and throw stuff on the floor.

Last weekend we went to the park at Kota Damansara and had brisk walking around the lake.

Nite Race in Sept

I joined race called nite race at Tropicana golf course on September 6th. The run course was 8.5 km which covered 18 holes around golf course and the race started at 7.45 pm.

I seriously enjoyed running on the path of the golf course. The landscape is so beautiful. It was windy, drizzling and calm. But there was no timing chip so I just calculate from the time I started and finished. 

I finished around 9 pm so it is about an hour and 15 minutes run. Earned medal.

Kancil Sold As Is

I finally sold my car. I couldn't believe it went sooo fast. I advertised on 5th Sept online and it was officially transferred to new ownership on 12th Sept, last Friday. Honestly I love that car and wanted to keep it but I just do not have enough time to take care two cars at the same time. Truthfully it was my first car and I bought it when I got first job in November 2000. Wow, until now 14 years went by, it full with history and very nostalgic. 

So many people called while she was on advertisement. I waited a few days to see who were really serious. I decided to choose the right buyer who can take care of it. At least I know the owner and trust that person.

Transferring ownership of the car is not harder than I thought. You have to call for appointment to set date at Puspakom for car inspection. My inspection date was on Friday (12th Sept) 9 am and only RM30 as fees payment. The inspection was good and I got pass certificate. Then we went to JPJ. We have to fill out 2 forms and did biometric fingerprint. The fees cost is RM100. That's it. Done process of transferring name. All those fees paid by buyer.

My Birthday 2014

It was yesterday on Wednesday (27th). yeah it was middle of the week.  I took half day from work and planned to spend the rest of day with Axel at the park. Before leaving the house for park, I made the cake. Robert planned to bake it for me but I decided to do it. It's been long time I stop baking. It was just a simple cake and time preparation was about 20 minutes.

The park is just about 15 minutes drive from our house and has a playground. He was not ready for playground because of too many obstacles that he could get an accident. So I let him walked freely on the grass. He completely enjoyed walking around and never stopped to get rest  a little bit. He laughed a lot and so happy. 

We came back around 7 pm and getting ready for celebration. We celebrated with 3 major things a song, birthday present and a cake. It was totally completed. Robert sang a birthday song for me, I blew up the candle and open the present. It was fun and lovely. We had  pizzas for dinner. 

So this is my birthday cake - Red Velvet!

Baby update - 18 months old

Axel is 18 months old this month. He become busy and active toddler,
Running around the house
Walking back and forth, 
Climb up and down the boxes
Talking on the phone (its own words)
He is really chatters..with it own world language.
Laughing.

This month time for his vaccination..He got 3 kind of vaccinations in one jab and thanks god he was not fussy all the time.

He was at Medical Centre

He got a gift from his pediatrician and a piece of cute note.

Other than that the results, he is taller than average boys based on the charts but his weight below than normal. It made me worry.

He is really juicer. He can drinks juices all day long.

He understands when I said
"Drink water"
"Eat something"
"Time for nap"
"Do you want milk"
"Go to bed"
"Let's go bath" and more .........
