Today, US celebrated Columbus Day which is on the second Monday of October. It is celebrations for honouring Christopher Columbus's first voyage to America in 1492. Columbus Day is a public holiday in most of states but not for California and Nevada. No celebrations here but most government offices and schools are generally close.
